- Ex-ITI Category (Fitter, Machinist, MMV, Turner, Diesel Mechanic, Carpenter, Wireman, Plumber, etc.): Passed 10th Class (with 50% aggregate marks) plus an ITI Course in the relevant trade from a recognized NCVT/SCVT institution.
- Electrician / Electronics Mechanic: Passed 10th Class with Science and Mathematics plus an ITI Certificate in the respective trade.
- Secretariat Assistant & Stenographer (English): Passed 12th class examination or equivalent plus an ITI Certificate in the relevant trade.
- COPA / PASSA: Passed 10th Class (with 50% aggregate marks) and National Trade Certificate in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant.
